WEBSITE LOCALIZATION
When it comes to website localization, I handle translations between English, Portuguese, and Croatian with a keen eye for cultural nuances and industry-specific terminology. My goal is to ensure that every website I work on resonates with its target audience, providing a seamless user experience. Featured here is a website I localized from Croatian into English, along with my own website, which I localized to showcase my skills and attention to detail.
I had the pleasure of localizing the website for Knebu Winery, a distinguished vineyard located in Tomislavgrad, Bosnia and Herzegovina. Knebu is known for its high-altitude vineyards and noble grape varieties like Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, and its website needed to convey its unique story and picturesque location. I translated and localized the site from Croatian into English, ensuring that the essence of Knebu’s ‘heavenward’ aspiration and the beauty of the Duvno field were accurately represented. This project is featured here as an example of my work in website localization.
